"Dear Family" Letter:

What profession did you choose and why did you do so?

I didn't choose this profession, it choose me. I was always told be a doctor, lawyer, cop, sports agent. I've always helped others and volunteer and baby sit so I was like maybe a teacher, but then I worked in a classroom and was like I can't see myself being in a class room just teaching a subject. When I got to college was the starting part I volunteered at the boys n girls club for community service, but when I encountered the children and played basketball, and kickball with them I actually had fun it felt different couldn't describe it as time went on I became president of my organization at college and I developed a thanksgiving dinner giveback to the boys n girls club because a lot of the families are not able to provide a dinner for their children. When I saw all the families smiling and children stuffing their faces thats when I realized I changed someones life, and from there my passion found me. From then on I kept improving families and children lives.

Why did you decide to work as a care professional abroad?

I've never been out of Texas neither has my mom so me finding jobs in Texas felt like I would fall into that trap. I wanted a different experience for my life. I wanted to follow my passion rather than just setting for any little job. Its never easy to leave your family, but when you have a host family treat you like family it makes your stay a-lot more easier. I will have a international business degree so I had planned on traveling to experience different states so at least I can do that now and work.

Why are you the best fit for a family and what are your specials skills when working with children?

I've learned from my grandmother how to be a mom and a dad she was strict to me but she also showed me compassion, love, and patience. You can't be in this field if you don't love what you're doing. I truly enjoy helping others that is my passion I was told that I will never be good as a woman caregiver, but I've excelled in this field and each child I've worked with will always remember Jacory showed me patience, compassion, love, and most of all he taught me to believe in myself even if no one else will. Children with special needs can have a normal life they just need guidance

How do you like to spend your free time?

Swimming, Muay Thai, Nature walks, riding bike, going to the beach, watching Netflix, sometimes a nice hot bubble bath with a scented candle is so relaxing.

How would you describe your driving skills?

Amazing I drive the speed limit because growing up when I would drive my mother and if the speed limit was 45 and If I reached 46 I would never hear the end of it. I always drive the speed limit. Safety is the most important to me. I never leave until I am certain everyone has on their seatbelt.

What would you like to tell your host children and their parents?

I am the first US American Male for Apexsocial and I have been changing families lives for the better. We are going to have a blast together. I am excited to meet you and I want nothing but the absolute best for you. My goal is to help the little one push further for higher milestones in their life. We shall Achieve greatness together. I am a ball full of energy by the end of the day the little one will be tried, but will have had an amazing day.

What else should a family know about you?

I will be the first in my entire family to graduate from college. I worked extremely hard to get where I am. I not only encourage the child to set higher goals, but I encourage the parents as well to encourage your child to push for higher goals in life as well. We work together to make the dream team work.

Important qualities and skill of the Au Pair:

They need to be experience working with 1-2 year olds and preschool age children.

For the 1-2 year old they need to be comfortable getting down on the ground and helping Finn with his gross and fine motor skills. They need to love to read, do art or play music to engage him creatively as well.

It has its own shower/bathroom, a queen bed, chairs, a pelaton, fridge, sink, kettle, and microwave. So its pretty amazing! Very light and pretty room.
